Getting Fierce…And Fancy!

Members of the HOP have been hard at work preparing for our next event! We are hosting a fashion show and dress sale to get Knoxville ready for the prom season, all while raising money for the secondary school in Boucan-Carré. Fierce & Fancy Formals: Fashion Show & Dress Sale will be held Saturday, February 27th from 2-7pm at the Emporium Center on Gay Street in Knoxville. I’d like to give you a preview of the exciting things we’re doing for this dress sale!

We’ll kick off the day with a silent auction. Some of the items will include a gorgeous pink stone necklace from Bella Boutique, free alteration services for after you find that perfect dress, teeth whitening packages, and restaurant gift cards – just to name a few!

At 3:00 the fashion show will start! We have models representing various student organizations at UT as well as Knoxville-area high schools.

After the fashion show is over, let the shopping begin! As of today over 400 dresses have been donated and there are many more to come! Donations have arrived from all over Knoxville to as far as California!

Tickets to Fierce & Fancy Formals are on sale now on our website! They are $8 in advance ($5 for students) and $10 if you purchase at the door. You can pick up your ticket at will call or choose to have it mailed directly to you.

We are still accepting dress and silent auction donations. Please drop off your gently worn formal dresses at any of Prestige Cleaners ten Knoxville locations, or any CBBC Bank location in Blount County! Not in town? Not a problem! Contact katie.riley@givehaitihope.org or jenniferneil@givehaitihope.org and we can arrange to get your dresses here in time. Check out our website and facebook for more information!
